The passion of The Worship Center
believes in people and believes that every individual who walks through the doors of our sanctuary has a God ordained destiny for their life. We want The Worship Center Family to look just like heaven: multicultural. Our congregation is of God's people from every race, denomination, and background worshipping Him in unity and believing Him to do great exploits in their life, in this city, and around the world.

Pastor Rusty
is a native Houstonian who grew up in north Houston. He began competing on the professional rodeo circuit at the age of 15. After graduating from Nimitz High School in 1981, he competed at the local and national level in the sport of rodeo. In 1988, he finished in the top five at the Texas Professional Rodeo Association finales and went on to represent his state at the world finals. Rusty met his beautiful wife, Stacey in February, 1988. Thanks to the faithful prayers of his mother, they were both saved seven months later. Rusty and Stacey were married in 1989 and have two wonderful children, Joshua and Jessica. Obeying the call of God on his life led Rusty to attend Kenneth Hagin's Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. After graduating in 1994, he returned to Houston and managed Greer Security Agency, a family owned business. Rusty and his family joined The Worship Center where he served as a layman and was recognized as an outstanding Bible teacher. In January, 2004, he joined the staff as an associate pastor. In June 2004 he accepted the position that he currently holds of senior pastor of The Worship Center, Houston, Texas. .
